You should be prepared to board the ship 30 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time so we can get you checked in and prepared for the adventure. The ship departs on time as scheduled. Parking varies from port to port, please plan accordingly. Please bear in mind that parking in Poulsbo is often a challenge and may require significant additional time.

Parking can be challenging and time consuming at some ports. In Poulsbo particularly, you may need to budget significant additional time to be present for your departure time. Please plan to be present and ready to go at the boat at least 30 minutes before your departure.
A Friendly Reminder: Don’t forget to use the shoreside washroom facilities before boarding.
While there is a small crew privy (portable toilet) on board the ship, it is not easily accessible. It is only accessible by removing deck planks on the elevated foredeck and setting up a ‘privacy screen’. There is no running water. Of course, we will set up the privy for ‘emergencies’ but it is highly recommended that you use shoreside facilities prior to coming aboard the ship.
We sail rain or shine. For your safety, we may occasionally need to cancel a sailing due to environmental conditions. We request that all participants dress for the weather – Layering garments is a good idea for changing weather conditions. Umbrellas may present a safety hazard onboard our open deck depending on circumstances, so please bring your rain jacket or poncho for rainy days.
Smoking, vaping and consuming alcohol or marijuana are strictly prohibited on the boat. Thank you for your cooperation.
Yes, please feel free to bring snacks and drinks. We highly recommend that drinks be in sealable containers. We cannot accommodate coolers due to our limited space. We do not currently sell food or drinks onboard. NO GLASS CONTAINERS PLEASE

No prior sailing experience is required. We welcome people of all ages and abilities. Our crew may invite you join them in the sailing of the ship at your level of willingness and ability.
We plan to carry an ever growing selection of quality garments, gifts and other merchandise. Right now we have a limited selection of T-shirts.
Please check back for announcements regarding merchandise.
You are welcome to bring small bags/backpacks onboard, but please keep in mind that storage space on our open deck is very limited.

When there is no wind to fill our sails on a given day we may use our electric propulsion or we may use the oars! The oars are a fun and challenging activity to get some exercise the Viking way!
